The Story Behind Samadly

I spent 30 years as a physician and Regional Director of Health Services in Ghana. I've managed hospitals. Trained doctors. Overseen disease surveillance systems across entire regions.

And I've seen preventable loss over and over again. Not because doctors weren't skilled. Not because patients weren't cared for. Because data was disconnected.

The Healthcare Pattern

A patient visits Clinic A with symptoms. Lab tests show early warning signs. Two weeks later, they visit Hospital B. New tests are ordered. New imaging done.

But Hospital B never sees Clinic A's lab results. And Clinic A never sees Hospital B's imaging.

Each doctor sees their piece of the puzzle. Nobody sees the complete picture.

Weeks pass. Symptoms worsen. The patient finally gets a diagnosis—but it's late-stage. What could have been treated early now has limited options.

The data existed. The warning signs existed.

What didn't exist: Someone connecting them.

After 30 years in healthcare, I realized: This isn't just a healthcare problem. This is a systems problem. Any organization with scattered data faces the same risk.

When I moved into technology and started working with B2B SaaS companies, I saw the exact same pattern. Customer signals scattered across G2, support tickets, usage data, Salesforce. Nobody connecting them. And customers churning—preventably.

1996–2026: Healthcare Systems Leadership

30 years building and managing health systems across Ghana as physician and Regional Director of Health Services. Learned that the best medical expertise means nothing if critical information lives in silos. Witnessed firsthand how disconnected data leads to preventable tragedies.

2021: The Realization

After witnessing countless preventable losses in healthcare due to disconnected data systems, recognized this pattern exists across all industries. Decided to build intelligence systems that connect the dots before it's too late—in healthcare, business, and beyond.

2022–2024: Technology Innovation

Transitioned into technology and discovered B2B SaaS companies suffering from the exact same problem: disconnected customer signals leading to preventable churn. Recognized that the intelligence system I wished existed in healthcare could save businesses.

2025: Samadly Launches
